Every participant answers the same problems. What changes by age group is how many points you need to advance.
Or under 16 years of age. Needs 15 points in the Qualification Round and 8 points in the Semi-Final Round to advance.
Or 16 years of age and above. Needs 17 points in the Qualification Round and 10 points in the Semi-Final Round to advance.
Or 19 years of age and above. Needs 20 points in the Qualification Round and 12 points in the Semi-Final Round to advance.
Your grade or age on the day of the Qualification Round submission deadline (6 September 2026) determines your age group for the entire competition — it does not change even if your grade or age changes afterward.
Current high school and university students of any grade or country are eligible. If you are between high school and university (for example, on a gap year) and plan to start university soon, you are also eligible to participate.
